Victoria Park has stunning panoramic views of Christchurch, the Canterbury Plains, Pegasus Bay, and the Southern Alps. There is a challenging playground and super slide, a vast array of tracks for walking, lots of picnic spots (including covered tables), and toilets.
Victoria Park is accessible from Dyers Pass Road (connects to south end of Colombo Street), or from Victoria Park Road. See map below for location.
We did a flying visit up to Victoria Park in April 2015 (autumn).
We visited again in November 2017 (spring). It’s still a great park and picnic spot!

Victoria Park car park to Sign of the Kiwi via Harry Ell Walkway = 2.4 kms (45 mins) with an alternative return route via Thomsons Track and Latters Spur Track = 2.5 kms (55 mins)

I am really loving the theme/design of your site. Do you ever run into any browser compatibility problems?
A few of my blog audience have complained about my
website not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Chrome.
Do you have any tips to help fix this problem?

Hi. Apologies for the delayed reply. I should be viewing the site on more browsers but I only really use Chrome too, so I’m not aware of any problems 🙂
