Prestons Playground

Double slide

This fantastic little playground on Raranga Street, Marshland, is part of the new Prestons residential subdivision.

The playground boats a clever obstacle course (suitable for racing another person!), a double-slide, tire swing, and spinning things to cling to. There’s a scooter/skate/bike track beside the playground and a very nice looking basketball half-court.

With plenty of seating, you can spend quite a bit of time here. There’s a flying fox set up but not yet installed (as of August 2016).

There are long stretches of paved footpaths suitable for walking, biking or scooting that take you past some picturesque lakes. There’s even exercise equipment placed along these paths.

There aren’t any public toilets or rubbish bins etc. and there’s not much parking directly beside the park, but you can easily park nearby.
